Owner’s words and history:

In the beginning of 2023, we bought in Jaleo Primero in Spain, a Beneteau First 47.7 Performance. A boat built for regatta purpose that we rebuild to the perfect mix of fast sailing and comfortable cruising. We are born and raised in Switzerland; a country well known for its high-quality expectation. With our perfect match of professional knowledge (mechanical/engine engineer, electrical engineer, wood worker), we rebuilt this boat. All the equipment is new from the year 2023.

After regular maintenance done by the previous owner: Steering refit changes rudder blade bearings 2021/2022, complete engine refit 2022, change engine exhaust system 2021, backstay hydraulic pistons overhaul 2021 and 2022, refrigerator motor change 2020, major and genoa purchased 2021/2022, all bulbs are LEDs, 2020 genoa furling maintenance, 2021 leather-covered helm, changes fittings 2021, kitchen surfaces painted 2022.

The news owners have done a MAJOR REFIT in 2023: around 150k Euros spent on the refit!

•  Full new package of B&G electronics (sensors, windvane, autopilot, plotter, GPS, AIS,… with also new VHF, Iridium GO, Starlink, Stereo,…)
• New Victron Lithium bank with Multiplus Charger/inverter, MPPT with 960W solar panels on a new stainless arch which is also used as davits to store the dinghy. All the electric system has been controlled and improved.
• Full new Riggings (rod rigging, new running rigging), mast and boom overhauled (pulley, wires, lights, new paint).
• Full new sails (New mainsail, new genoa, ne gennaker), with an extra genoa (2017). New lazybag.
• New dinghy with new Honda 15hp outboard.
• All new seacocks and fittings.
• New watermaker 50 L/h ZEN ith extra 150L flexible tank, new boiler, new pumps (bilge and water)

JALERO PRIMERO entered in French Polynesia in May 2024, so she could stay till May 2026 before being imported or leaving FP waters. She is ready to sail with NO expense expected for the next years, and the regular maintenance could be done easily with all the spare parts already onboard. You just need to enjoy and follow the adventure!!
