Her high volume allows for roomy accommodation below with no compromise on comfort and the 16,500 kg light ship displacement provides a safe but enjoyable sailing platform with stunning performance!
CAVATINA is an exceptionally well-equipped Hallberg-Rassy 46, testimony to the experience of her owners who have been both very experienced sailors and Hallberg-Rassy owners. Always professionally maintained and regularly upgraded. She has had a comprehensive maintenance program from 2015-2020 including among other jobs, new teakdeck (2014), all new through hulls in bronze under the waterline and most of the ones above, new Raymarine navigation equipment, engine and gearbox maintenance, new riggings,… Highlights: Hydraulic furling head stay and hydraulic backstays. Selden hydraulic in-mast furling, Navtec Hydraulic vang and backstay controlled from a remote panel in the cockpit, with electric winch it makes her so easy to maneuver with a reduced crew. Bowthruster will help you in marinas, 110hp engine with flexofold that allows cruise speed from 7 to 9kts, low hours 4,2kw generator which produces 230V, but you could also connect a separate 110v circuit if needed inside the boat (sockets installed). A washing machine, 135L watermaker and an air conditioning system will complete your comfort expectation.
History of the boat: The first owner initially sailed in Scandinavian waters and later in the Mediterranean.
He sold the boat in 2006 and she returned to Sweden where she has been for an Atlantic crossing to the West Indies.
Cavatina was sailed back to Sweden and sold in February 2014 to Swedish sailing friends of the current owner who bought her from them in July 2017. The current owners left Sweden in 2019 for long-distance cruising with World Cruising Club. They sailed to The Canaries to take part in World ARC which was called off Panama due to Covid 19. We restarted and left Panama in January 2023 and sailed in French Polynesia to Tahiti
